Join us at Thyme & Chillies on Wednesday, 28th January from 6pm for Wine O’Clock—a special evening where authentic Indian cuisine meets exceptional wines. This exclusive £40-per-person event features a 5-course set menu, each dish thoughtfully paired with wines selected by Ellis Wines, one of the UK’s most respected family-run wine specialists since 1822.

Our guest wine expert, James Craig-Wood, brings over 35 years of international wine experience, including judging for the International Wine Challenge and writing for Harper’s Wine & Spirit Magazine. Throughout the evening, James will guide you through each pairing, sharing insights and stories behind the wines that elevate every course.

Your culinary journey begins with Delhi-style papadums and Prosecco, followed by a choice of pre-starters and starters paired with rosé, Rioja or Viognier. A refreshing orange sorbet prepares the palate for your choice of main course—ranging from Kadhai Ghost and Murg Makhani to Alleppey Prawn Curry or Achari Aloo Baigan—each matched with premium wines such as Shiraz, Riesling or Albariño. The experience concludes with our classic Gajar Halwa and vanilla ice cream, beautifully complemented by Château de Monbazillac.
